  • I’m sure some of you heard I got a new job starting tomorrow: I’m the new manager of the Eugene Banana Republic.
  • Conan O’Brien • Speaking about his new TBS job at his first live show in Eugene, Oregon. Despite being banned from saying mean things about his old company NBC on TV, he said plenty of them live on stage. Tech: High-fives all around for the makers of Opera Mini for the iPhone

  • Hell froze over, boys. Our good friends at Opera, who ballsily submitted a Web browser (i.e. direct competition) to the good folks at Apple for the iPhone App Store, actually got it approved. Which was beyond unexpected based on Apple’s recent track record. Maybe Apple isn’t made of stone after all. Will a mobile version of Firefox be next? source

Politics: The Daily Show: Obama’s, Reagan’s nuclear policy the same

  • Just don’t let Fox News tell you otherwise. It’s kind of sad/hilarious that Jon Stewart has to point out the blatant lying taking place on Fox regarding Obama’s nuclear policy. Newt Gingrich and Sean Hannity, in particular, are bold-faced in their dishonesty.
