cool The new Gorillaz single, “Stylo,” has one of the deepest, bassiest beats you’ll hear this side of a Justice song. If the music video doesn’t feature Don Johnson in shades, we’ll be greatly disappointed.
crazy The song features Bobby Womack – a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and legendary soul singer – using his booming vocals to break through everything. It’s an awesome left turn for a band built on them. source
The Task: Turn Michael Cera – Canada’s greatest nerd export – into a Guido. The solution: Loads of hair gel, lots of bronzing, and the cast of “Jersey Shore.” The result: The greatest thing Michael Cera’s done since “Arrested Development.” Yeah, we called it.
Who needs a stupid jumble of blocks that turn into a flower when you could potentially make this puzzle look like anything? Dear Tenyo: Ship us one. We’ll review it.

This may be one of the most beautiful machine we’ve ever seen. It’s massive, it’s ugly, but its creation allowed the Internet to flow freely. It’s a packet switcher – nowadays your tiny little Linksys router does way more than this, but God, it’s beautiful. Above, our boy Leonard Kleinrock gives us a tour of its guts. source
Jack White is releasing a cover of “A Glorious Dawn,” a Carl Sagan-meets-autotune-meets-mashup ditty (featuring special guest Stephen Hawking), which is kind of like “Autotune the News” for famous scientists. What’s crazy is that it’s a full-featured pop song with multiple choruses. And now White’s covering it and releasing it as a 7″ vinyl record. Neat. (Note how we completely ignored the other news at the link. There’s a reason for that.)source
