The 33-year-old, also sporting tattoos of praying hands and demonic goblins, thought he knew the woman, but when he realized he didn’t, he exposed himself. Sports: Caster Semenya may be a lady, but her testosterone level disagrees

  • She has three times the expected testosterone level. South African runner Caster Semenya’s been facing questions about her gender for weeks, questions only exploding because of her recent breakaway at the World Athletics Championships last week. Now that tests suggest that she has an unusually high testosterone level, expect those questions to get even louder. May we suggest something? It’s not her fault that her genetic makeup is a little off. It’s not like she took steroids or put on a swimsuit designed to make her go faster. Let her have her victory untainted, jerks. source

Politics, U.S.: Hillary won’t be prez but hopes to see a female president soon

  • It will take the right woman who can make the case and win the votes and get elected. I am certainly hoping it will happen in my lifetime.

Offbeat: A 90-year-old woman, saved by a rubber duckie

  • She was stuck in her bathtub for three days. Shirley Madsen of Walnut Creek, Calif., who just turned 90, debated between taking a bath eating dinner. She chose the bath, which proved to be a mistake, as she could not lift herself out of the bathtub. She spent three days stuck in the tub, preventing dehydration by drinking water out of a rubber duckie. When she was finally found, she had a deep tissue bruise, two bedsores and dry skin. But the rubber duckie saved her life. source

  • The German woman has multiple injuries, a lot of explaining to do. The Berlin Zoo puts its polar bears behind multiple barriers for a reason. The reason is so that photos like this one (SFW but a little painful to look at) don’t happen. How could people be this stupid? source
