In Touch is reporting that Suleman is in talks to be the topic of what promises to be the worst reality show ever, which combines the tabloid-friendly topics of dating and child care into a cluster&(*% of a television show. And, sadly, you will watch. Because she ticks you off and that’s what makes good TV. source

Culture: Octet mom Nadya Suleman: My angels-in-waiting? Not really angels.

  • They were apparently spying on her. Suleman, who has 14 kids, in case you haven’t heard, claims the nonprofit Angels in Waiting has not exactly been very cool to her throughout their agreement. The group was providing training services to nannies paid on Suleman’s dime. (They initially offered around-the-clock service, but scaled back.) The group apparently was making complaints to child services. “It started out adversarial and never really resolved itself,” said Suleman attorney Jeff Czech. source

Culture: Like watching child birth? How about eight at once, say, an octet?

Culture: Did octet mom Nadya Suleman rip off Angelina Jolie?

  • It’s one thing to clip out a celebrity’s photo from a magazine and ask your stylist to copy that cut. Who hasn’t done that? But to have a nose job, have collagen injections in your lips and start talking like Angelina – that’s over the top.
  • A friend of Angelina Jolie • who was quoted in the Chicago Sun-Times as saying that Jolie is “totally creeped out” by Suleman, who appears to have possibly gone to extreme lengths to copy Jolie’s look. Suleman also tried contacting Jolie, apparently. • source

U.S.: The grandmother of the octet is ticked at her daughter, a.k.a. mom

  • She already has six beautiful children, why would she do this? I’m struggling to look after her six. We had to put in bunk beds, feed them in shifts and there’s children’s clothing piled all over the house.
