U.S.: The saga of “Drunk Bus Driver” leads to jail time. With video!

  • When the students on the bus seem to have more control than the driver, you know you probably shouldn’t be a bus driver. In this tense video, a New York bus driver, Martha Thompson, left students at her mercy, believing she was fine. She blew a .15 on the breathalyzer. She’ll now be spending the next 12 weekends in jail after pleading guilty to 37 child endagerment counts. The video alone is worth the wild ride. source

Culture: The Dramatic Chipmunk is much deadlier than he looks

  • Sometimes, it simply takes a new approach to make a meme completely fresh again. Dramatic Chipmunk has been around for a few years, and while it’s completely awesome, it’s also old. This parody clip takes the chipmunk (really a prairie dog) and has it attack the Japanese video crew shooting it, horror-movie-style. This is one of the best parody clips we’ve seen in ages, and we highly recommend you watch.

  • “Shy Ronnie, speak up!” Rihanna and Shy Ronnie (Andy Samberg) are yet another example of how SNL can totally knock it out of the park when given the opportunity. The Lonely Island are on a high right now – they were just nominated for a very real Grammy for “I’m On A Boat,” which was just about the only surprise the Grammy nominations had to offer.

  • It’s official. You can autotune anything. For some reason, what should be a silly little one-off video turns into something vaguely more epic when you add autotune to it. These kids know how to turn a finger-biting incident into a bedroom jam.

Music: Bob Dylan’s “Christmas in the Heart”: Everything we imagined

  • Hearing Dylan tackle “Here Comes Santa Claus” with that voice of his is just unbelievable. You think he’s doing it ironically, but no, he’s doing it with the passion of a guy who can pull off that bizarre mustache he’s been rocking the last few years. Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times gave this album no stars. That’s how bad it is.source

Culture: Dustin Diamond’s “Behind the Bell” has the worst cover design ever

Do we even need to say why? Just look at this crap. It looks like Dustin Diamond designed it himself. Here's why:

1. Forced pose. Diamond looks like he's trying to be the next David Copperfield, or it's a really bad Zack Morris impression.

2. Stretched, generic font. People who have no clue about design won't notice it. But we do, and it kills us.

3. Ganking from Google Images. Dude, you were on the show. You should have six of those photos on your fridge.

4. Bad use of Photoshop stroking. Congratulations, Dustin. You've created a candidate for the Photoshop Disasters hall of fame. SOURCE
