Music, Tech: WolframAlpha’s musical cousin the weirdest thing ever

  • Look, we realize that we’re bloggers first, musicians second. But good God, we didn’t know we could create music as godawful as this. The mathematical approach at music creates tunes that sound straight out of 1986 but otherwise has no equivalent. The most interesting part? It predates WolframAlpha by about four years.   • Japanese porn star Aoi Sola • On her newfound popularity on Twitter with the mainland Chinese. After her fans found out she was on the site, they freaked out and found ways around the “Great Firewall” that China uses to block certain speech-allowing sites. “In China you can get anything you want on the Internet, you just have to want to bad enough,” said China-based tech industry analyst David Wolf. Culture: The downfall of the “Downfall” meme: Hitler won’t be happy, guys

  • Way to take the fun out of Hitler, guys. You’ve seen this meme probably a million times. (We know we have.) Anyway, the rise of the “Downfall” meme has hit a dead-end, after producers of the film started ordering clips from the film be taken down. Probably is, these clips are almost all across-the-board parodies of the original clip, where Hitler learns that he’s about to lose the war.
