It was a heart-wrenching decision for both Memphis, which has soared to great heights under Calipari’s helm, and Calipari himself, who will be coaching an iconic college basketball team that’s fallen on hard times. Memphis students and fans begged Calipari not to do it, but it was too late. Peace, brotha. source

Mercer University officials say that the goal is to get students to graduate sooner from the Macon, Ga. school, but we see it working the opposite way. “Oh, you mean you’re gonna pay for my classes? Ruckus, with its Windows-only software and DRM-heavy music collection, was the answer to a question few wanted answered.
The end of Ruckus Ruckus was acquired last year by TotalMusic, a music-industry-owned company that attempted to be the driving force behind the failed Facebook Music initiative. TotalMusic is kind of not doing so hot, though they just launched a streaming music site. As for Ruckus, it shut down without warning on Friday night.

You can continue to listen to your music until it phones back home to the DRM server, which died along with Ruckus. That should happen in the next couple of weeks. She’s better than everyone, even the guys. Summit, Tennessee’s longtime coach, is the first person – male or female – to hit 1,000 wins in coaching college basketball. The next closest is Bob Knight, who got to 900 wins in more time (and by throwing more chairs) than it took Summit.
