In a few comments, some are criticizing these Navy guys for actually daring to have a little fun when they’re stuck in the middle of the ocean working. We don’t see that problem at all. In fact, we hope that they’re doing this instead of working, because they look so hard in this video that you can’t imagine any pirates would dare come up to their boat. Retired Gen. Russel Honore • Arguing in favor of allowing soldiers to smoke. The military is discussing banning it, saying it has negative short-term and long-term effects. Honore, known for having a stogie wherever he went, says having tobacco is good for soldiers morale, especially in light of high suicide rates. • source
The Pakistani government is gunning for him. The military has started operations to take down Mehsud, the Pakistani Taliban leader. He’s responsible for much of the instability in the region, and we even have someone saying as much. “Baitullah Mehsud is the root cause of all evils,” said Owais Ghani, governor of the adjoining North West Frontier Province, near the rumored location of the country’s Taliban hideouts in South Waziristan. Fox goes hardcore The conservative-leaning news network’s late-night show “Red Eye” has a new regular contributor, and he’s the lead screamer of one of our favorite hardcore bands, Toronto’s F&%*ed Up. The manic Pink Eyes (a.k.a. Damian Abraham) got the gig after ballsily calling out the show’s host, Greg Gutfield, on comments he made regarding the Canadian military. Gutfield, BTW, is a fan. source

What Pink Eyes thinks Abraham, who’s known for doing such awesomely insane things as drawing his own blood at shows, is just as surprised as anybody. “It’s one of those things where do you take this ridiculous opportunity as it’s presented to you, or do you avoid it and just continue on with your life?” he said of the surreal gig. “That’s sort of the internal struggle I’m dealing with.” source
