Culture: Good way to wake up: Watch as Texas Stadium implodes

  • The Dallas Cowboys left this stadium a couple of years ago, but this iconic piece of football history will be missed. That said, it’s pretty awesome to see it torn down in a matter of seconds. Our society will not be judged on how quickly it builds something, but how quickly it tears that something down. So, we’re doing pretty good. source

Sports: Pacman Jones may get another Power Pellet from the Cowboys

  • Sure, he’s controversial, but they might give him another shot. In an interview Saturday night, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones asked a reporter, “Would you beat me up too bad if I brought back Adam?” Adam Pacman Jones, who was released in February, is infamous bordering on unusable for his off-the-field behavior. Sports: “Pacman” Jones is no longer a Cowboy

  • What happened? Jones, who has had a long history of personal troubles that led to his suspension from the league in 2007, had a rough-and-tumble season in 2008 in which he was suspended six games for an off-field fight. On the field, he was essentially useless to Dallas. source
