My heart goes out for the family, losing their dad, and I guess having to witness it during this time of year. It’s definitely going to be hard on the kids.
Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper • Regarding the death of Salvation Army Maj. Philip Wise, who was robbed, shot and killed outside of a Salvation Army facility on Christmas Eve in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The sick bastards who did this were attempting to rob Wise, who had been active with the Salvation Army for 16 years. Awful. In fact, beyond awful. source

Concerned British mother Davinia Phillips • On her anger at a Christmas card, sold at at least two Tesco stores, which featured the tagline, “Santa loves all kids. Even ginger ones.” Which is more than a little hairist. What you got against freckles? source
Whoever gives a Christmas card like this for a friend or family member needs to consider exactly how high they’re setting the standards for Chrismas now and Christmases to come. Not only is the card super-expensive, but the app they’re using isn’t even free.
