McCain’s big help Former presidential race foe John McCain played a huge role for Obama. McCain said the victory, attributable to stands taken by both Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, “really means there’s a chance of us changing the way we do business in Washington.” McCain’s support meant the vote was bipartisan. source
Well, this is much better than it has any right to be. “J-Stache” is a cartoon featuring Hall and Oates, with Oates’ stache as one of the main characters. We heard about it when it was first being discussed, and held our breath hoping it would be great, and this video sure provides a lot of ammunition in its favor.source

Cambridge Police Department Spokeswoman Kelly Downes • Regarding the drama that both the police department and Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. went through after Gates was arrested last week for disorderly conduct. While Downes says there was “probable cause” to arrest the professor, both the police department and Gates are looking to get the drama behind them. Gates’ arrest stirred up lots of criticism due to the fact that he’s black and the circumstances appeared to be racial profiling. • source
23-year-old Matt Damon … er, Peter Cowman is currently being used as a shining example of how to do social media right in terms of spreading a political message. Cowman, from Republican Rep. Dave Reichert’s district in Washington, re-wrote the lyrics to Lady Gaga’s newfangled classic “Just Dance” to criticize overspending in Congress and by Obama.
