Politics: Rupert Murdoch on Fox News: Uh … Greta is a Democrat, right?

  • They are certainly there… Greta Van Susteren is certainly close to the Democratic Party. She doesn’t do many political stories. She is just a great journalist… but people who have been involved in Democratic politics and so on, yeah we have people…
  • News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch • On The Kalb Report, trying to remember if there are any Democrats on the Fox News staff, and struggling. He emphasized that Roger Ailes had a list handy. Murdoch was trying to make this point to emphasize that Fox News had support from both sides of the aisle. He made it clear, however, that other media outlets, particularly the New York Times, were biased towards Democrats. He also trashed on John McCain during the interview. Sure John liked that. source

Politics: GOP forgets ugly feet covered by new health care law, too

  • We wonder what the Craiglist posting for the ugly dude’s feet was – “must have feet that have yellowing, ingrown toenails and you’re completely uncomfortably with showing to the world.” We hope the foot model got paid handsomely for this ad.

Politics: Top RNC staffer quits, throws dagger on the way out

  • Let me be clear so that there is no misunderstanding. I don’t care if the $2,000 was spent in February at a strip club or a pizza parlor. This is a matter of principle. That $2,000 should have been used to promote our conservative ideals.
  • New Hampshire Republican National Committee leader Sean Mahoney • Sending in his resignation in a way that stings. He’s not even the first member to quit the RNC since the scandal hit, but his both-middle-fingers-in-the-air approach is fun to watch. Michael Steele, by the way, will likely remain in his position at least until January when the next RNC election takes place. source

Politics: Shepard Smith thinks fast on his feet, saves Jamie Foxx’s rep

  • The West Virginia mining disaster is scary and stuff, and all some jerks can think about is trashing Jamie Foxx on live TV. We’re impressed with Shep’s way of preventing that prank from getting more play than it could’ve.

Culture: Desperate lawsuits: Former “Desperate Housewives” star sues creator

  • Nicollette Sheridan doesn’t like Mark Cherry. The former “Desperate” star, who left the show recently, claims that Cherry physically assaulted her on the set in 2008 and then begged forgiveness later. She claims, beyond that, Cherry fostered a hostile work environment for her and other actors. The “Desperate” camp, on the other hand, claims that Sheridan’s allegations are “without merit.” source
