Angry after getting booed non-stop by Mets fans, he threw his gear and ended up getting ejected from the game, but not before driving in three runs and helping the team win 8-0. Ramirez, easily the Dodgers’ biggest star right now, just returned from a 50-game suspension for use of banned substances (which may or may not be steroids, by the way). • source

World: Manuel Zelaya’s return to Honduras could lead to a “bloodbath”

Zelaya will be flying in with the leaders of two Central American countries, and Honduras has threatened to do everything in his power to prevent him from coming in. As tensions are running high, it may be a bad time for him to show up. “We think that a return to the country at the moment could provoke a bloodbath,” said Tegucigalpa Archbishop Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez. The cardinal has asked the former president to stay away. • source
