Do you guys even know who you’re dealing with? U.S. Border Patrol agents stopped Weezy’s tour buses in Texas today as he was headed for a tour stop in Mexico. Pot was found on two of the buses. In other news, if you freeze water inside a tray, it makes ice cubes! And if you pull that tray out of the freezer, the ice (eventually) melts! source

Last week in Portland, Oregon (that bastion of hipsterism and indie rock and Elliott Smith shrines), a pot cafe opened up for medical marijuana users. Its the first of its kind in the country, and pretty much the only place it would really make sense at this point is on the West Coast. Former New York Knick Stephon Marbury • Discussing (on camera because he’s an idiot) how he’s keeping on the straight and narrow now that he’s an unsigned NBA player. Marbury’s reputation took a tumble after he stunk up the room and angered his teammates as a Knick, and other teams are wary of signing him due to this rep. We’re sure the admission, no matter how noble, won’t help his chances. • source

LeBron James • Defending his mother’s purchase of (and acquiring of a $50,000 loan to help pay for) a Hummer. James was under heavy scrutiny at the time, as something of a “chosen one” at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio who had already appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated. In his book, “Shooting Stars,” out this fall, James also admits to smoking pot with his teammates in a hotel room one night. “Stars” was co-written with Buzz Bissinger, who wrote a book you might know better for its TV show and movie adaptations – “Friday Night Lights.” • source
