World: Iran’s blaming a nuclear scientist’s death on the U.S. Whatevah!

  • The U.S. calls the allegation “absurd” or something. The death of Massoud Ali Mohammadi, who was killed when a bomb on a motorcycle blew up outside his home, has Iran using fighting words. Mohammadi was a particle physics professor at top-ranked Tehran University. The attack was portrayed by one Iranian government official as “signs of evilness by the triangle of the Zionist regime, America and their mercenaries in Iran.” Which sounds like a really complicated way to say, “We hate the U.S.!” source

  • A poem by militant blogger Asadullah Alshishani • Regarding the death of Humam Khalil Abu Mulal al-Balawi, also known by the pen name Abu Dujana al-Khorasani, who died in a suicide bombing attack on the CIA last week. al-Balawi was a double agent and used this to the CIA’s disadvantage. • We dodged a bullet but just barely. It was averted by brave individuals, not because the system worked, and that is not acceptable.
  • President Barack Obama • Speaking with his staff today in the White House just before he made a speech on the Christmas terror attack – the one where he got the Underwear Bomber in his stocking. Obama pulled no punches and totally admitted it was a screw-up by his staff, one that they’re working on. source

U.S., World: The Danish cartoonist attacker almost attacked Hillary Clinton

  • She was reportedly the target of a foiled bus attack in Kenya. The suspect, who we can’t name due to Danish law, reportedly tried to attack the former Secretary of State during her 11-day tour of the country in September. He was sent back to Denmark due to lack of evidence. Now we can probably agree that something is up with this dude who was arrested. source
