  • The papers – The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News – will stop delivering to homes most days of the week and will become a product that focuses mainly on box sales and online content. source

  • What the president said during the campaign, you’ll be surprised to know, will be consistent with what we’ll be doing here in law enforcement. What he said during the campaign is now American policy.
  • Attorney General Eric Holder • on the policy the government will take with regards to pot, specifically medical marijuana. Advocates say the policy change is encouraging. No word yet from Cheech and Chong, but considering Chong was put in jail due to the Bush administration’s drug policy, we can assume he’s a fan. • source

U.S.: Got analog TV still? You have more time to convert.

  • Congress increased the time until June 12. That move, which President Obama supported, will give four extra months to the 6.5 million people who have yet to convert their analog TVs to digital. (The original date was Feb. 17, a.k.a. a week from Tuesday.) Many House Republicans did not support the passage of the bill, but it got enough votes for a two-thirds majority. source
