  • » Yeah yeah, we know the irony: A guy named after pocket change just used his power to give a penny stock a boost. And the best part? It’s entirely possible the stock (currently at 39 cents) will reach 50 cents tomorrow. See, when 50 Cent sells out his name, he doesn’t sell it out to make a quick buck on advertising. He sells it out to make a quick buck. Period.

If you really want to be great at this, you need to do them with the speed and constant entertainment value the Eminem protege has been rocking the site. The Vitamin Water beneficiary has been rocking the tweets himself for a little less than two weeks (after his management was doing a very crappy job at it), and since then, he’s pretty much become the single most refreshing new Tweeter in a long time. This guy makes adversary Kanye West look like a wannabe. source

On November 10, the two most overstyled, vapid names in pop music were supposed to launch a co-headlining tour designed to make everyone forget how Kanye treated Taylor Swift (or that Lady Gaga is a possible hermaphrodite). But not long after 50 Cent called it the “Gay Tour,” it got cancelled. Coincidence? We think not. source
