  • Now that’s just sketchy Ciavarella had a pretty corrupt reason for the harsh sentencing – he and another judge sent more kids to juvenile detention facilities so that they could get kickbacks to the tune of $2.6 million. The two judges recently got sentenced to 87 months in prson for fraud. See, that’s what they deserve. source

  • I want him to be occupied and busy and back, essentially, in school. I wouldn’t say he’s in good spirits. He’s confused. He looks and acts like a typical 11-year-old.

U.S.: Could this be the elusive cure to the flu?

  • One treatment to prevent them all. An experimental flu treatment kills multiple strains at once in mice, says the journal Nature Structural and Molecular Biology. The treatment, made from human proteins, managed to kill such strains as bird flu and the 1918 strain that caused an epidemic. But will it work on humans? Biz, U.S.: CNBC’s Rick Santelli: He’s Internet famous now

  • 1.7 million Internet viewers can’t be wrong! Santelli, who went on a memorable (though polarizing) tirade against Obama’s foreclosure plan on Thursday, has drawn millions of viewers and a White House response to all that stuff he said. Press secretary Robert Gibbs bluntly proclaimed that Santelli “doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” Which should be a compliment to him at this point. Who knows? He may get his Chicago Tea Party yet. source

  • This is something that you wouldn’t even think of in your worst nightmare, that you’d have to charge an 11-year-old with homicide. It’s heinous, the whole situation.
