I will not give in to illegal demands. If we break the law, we will have to do it in every election and no election would be immune. This is wrong. This is the beginning of dictatorship.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei • Who called on the protesters – you know, a million strong yesterday – to call off peaceful protests supporting Mir Hossein Mousavi or face the consequences. Who does this jerk think he is? Note the twisted language in this message. By the way, he also trashed on the Western media again. • source
When I watched it, I had really no idea about the content of the theme of the movie. I just know that word ‘Up’ and all of the balloons and I swear to you, for me it meant that (Colby) was going to go up. Up to heaven.
Lisa Curtin • Whose 10-year-old daughter, Colby, was able to see “Up” thanks to some really awesome Pixar staffers who hooked her up with a copy of the DVD. Colby, who was diagnosed with vascular cancer three years ago, died seven hours later. Sad story, but awesome in a heartbreaking way. • source

According to The Unofficial Apple Weblog (where friend of the site Megan Lavey works), AT&T plans to offer a super-expensive $55 data plan to allow you to use the iPhone’s 3G on your laptop. Laaaaaaaaame.
According to 9to5Mac (where, sadly, no friends of the site work), you can hack your 3.0-upgraded iPhone using some simple non-jailbreaking steps to enable tethering in five minutes. Guess which one we’re doing?
DNA proves the break in the 1955 missing child case isn’t true. Poor John Robert Barnes. Yesterday, Barnes came out in the press to talk about his belief that he was Steven Damman, a kid plucked from the mean streets of Long Island in 1955. By the way, Barnes’ dad is still alive and calls his story BS. Good luck patching that one up, dude. source

And gay-rights activists aren’t happy. • source
