U.S.: Perhaps the most apt description of a religious figure ever

  • I found him to be something of a mentor. I didn’t have all the baggage he did. But you can see him with a quill in one hand and a drink in the other. He married a brewer and renegade nun. His story is kind of indie rock.
  • Mark Driscoll • pastor at Mars Hill Church in Seattle, on Protestant Christianity icon Martin Luther. Driscoll’s preaching style is very brash, akin to the “Man Show,” and occasionally sexually explicit. Driscoll has been nicknamed “the cussing pastor” by conservatives. • source
