“Opie and Anthony” show leaks a pic of Weiner’s penis from Breitbart’s phone

yesterday Andrew Breitbart detailed that while he had an extremely sexually explicit photo of Rep. Anthony Weiner, he had no intention of revealing it (unless Weiner attempted reprisals against him), displaying some respect during a rough time for the congressman.
today A picture of Anthony Weiner’s penis hit Twitter, snapped by radio host Greg Hughes (“Opie” of “Opie and Anthony”) when Breitbart showed it to him, unbeknownst to Breitbart. Protip: Don’t show sensitive photos to shock jocks, then get surprised that they “violated” your trust. source

UPDATE: The photo was not taken by Greg “Opie” Hughes via cell phone, but rather was a still from a video feed the show operates, which captured the image when Breitbart showed it. Seeing as the Opie and Anthony folks ran with it, however, and Breitbart flashed it in the first place (the stark opposite of what he’d said he’d do), the story is basically unchanged.

From what I’ve read about this script, though not executed, it is patently gross and offensive. It’s not his detractors to whom he also owes this public airing. It’s to his legion of supporters.
Andrew Breitbart • In a post on his “Big Journalism” site yesterday, regarding the whole James O’Keefe-faux-seducing incident involving CNN reporter Abbie Boudreau. While Andrew has been critical of the network in the past, particularly for the coverage of James O’Keefe’s Mary Landrieu incident earlier this year, he noted that Boudreau and her producer “conducted themselves professionally, and I believe James owes them a candid and public explanation.” He kind of left the door open for this to be a big misunderstanding, but it’s pretty crazy that not even Breitbart can back the Hunter S. Thompson wannabe’s behavior this time. source

And really, they should. Those guys were jerks. ACORN has been battered, beaten, and shamed in the press and politically. And it was all for some out-to-shame videotapes. Now, they’re fighting back. The organization has filed a lawsuit against filmmakers James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles along with Breitbart.com LLC, the Andrew Breitbart-led company that owns BigGovernment.com. ACORN says the duo never obtained consent from the now-fired employees they showed helping with their faux-prostitution scheme in Baltimore. It’ll be interesting to see where the suit goes. source
