Well, here’s a sample of what Ahmadinejad said: “The whole world knows that the Zionists are going to disappear … The occupying Zionists today have no choice but to accept reality and go back to their countries of origin.” Ohhhh. Yeah. We see how Benny boy could deduct that from the Iranian leader’s visit. source

» Compared to the series: The latest film in the “Jackass” franchise, which is known for having a really huge opening weekend and falling off fast, is doing pretty good even by those standards. The most successful film in the series, “Jackass: Number Two” has made $72 million, which “Jackass 3D” is bound to top by accident. It might have also helped that the franchise has been relatively dormant for a few years.

You may not know Saleed Malekpour, but you should read up. This web developer created a program that people used to upload pictures, and put his name on it. Someone (not him) used it for an adult Web site, and because his name was in the credits, he was arrested on the descriptive charge of “internet offenses.” While born in Iran, he was a Canadian citizen and had only returned to Iran to visit his terminally ill father. Malekpour has been in jail for two years now on reportedly trumped-up charges, some of which are punishable by death. And he’s been tortured, too. Harrowing. source

Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell • Talking on ABC’s “This Week” about how she can’t get help from the national GOP in fighting Chris Coons. But the same day as the interview, she had this to say to a local rotary club: “If you want a senator who has had to fight her own party and is still fighting her own party, please vote O’Donnell for U.S. Senate.” Hmmmmmmmmm. One point to make here is that she’s kicking Coons’ butt when it comes to spending, including getting the maximum donation from the NRSC. But she’s still losing. source
