U.S.: Trying to bomb a plane: One of the dumber ways to celebrate Xmas
- UPDATE: THE passenger was trying to blow up the flight. Today, at the Detroit Metro airport, a flight that was headed from Amsterdam to the saddest metro area in the country ended when one of the passengers tried – and failed – to set off a firecracker-like device on the plane after landing. Fellow passengers stopped the attacker, who was reportedly Nigerian, had Al-Qaeda ties and was on the no-flight list. source
