Sports: Selection Sunday’s feel-good story: North Dakota State

  • It’s so new to everybody up here that we’ve been bombarded by fans asking about who we’re going to play. It’s a learn-as-you-go process.
  • Saul Phillips • Coach of North Dakota State, who made the tourney in its first year of eligibility after winning the Summit League title on Tuesday. Many of the seniors redshirted their first year on the off-chance that this would happen. So it’s kind of like a dream, or something. They’re 14th-seeded and taking on 3rd-seeded Kansas. • source
