Tech: Jesus tap-dancing Christ, MS brought its Xbox A-game to E3

one Microsoft, taking a cue from Nintendo but going a step further, will allow gamers to play games by gesturing – sans controller.
two MS improved the console’s video and music delivery abilities a ton as well as allowing full Xbox 360 game downloads. Sweet.
three Oh yeah, the games: Most importantly, Bungie is back on board for a brand-new Halo game, “Halo: Reach,” out next year.
four And when you’re fragging your fake friends, now you can use Facebook, Last.Fm and Twitter to interact with the outside world.
five And last but not least, they got the surviving members of The Beatles to promote their spiffy new Rock Band game. Whoa.

Music: The Beatles, remastered; updated albums out in September

The date? Zero-9-zero-9-zero-9. Apple Records will mass-re-release the Beatles’ albums in a digitally-remastered format, along with two box sets – one in stereo and one in mono (for nerds and purists). The sets will come with DVD documentaries on the making of each album. Also on that day, the “Rock Band” Beatles game comes out, so it’s a good day to be into the Beatles. Regarding the elephant in the room, no word on digital release of the albums yet. source
