Offbeat: Man impersonates female vet, almost gets away with it
- Danielle Smith ≠ Daniel Tyce. Tyce, of Atlantic City, N.J., ran an animal clinic, but he didn’t have any of the credentials he claimed he did. He’d drive around in a vehicle labeled “Animal Cruelty Investigations” with an assistant and would inoculate animals and set up adoptions dressed up like a police officer.
