- One example of it in action David Lee Roth’s wonderful singing was one of Van Halen’s greatest assets. Unless, that is, you took away the backing music, as on this laughable vocal track from “Running with the Devil.” Some enterprising fellow threw it in Songsmith, and here’s the result. source
