U.S., World: Are North Korean hackers blocking access to U.S. sites?
- South Korean sites are being affected, too. The Asian country’s National Intelligence Service has identified 26 Web sites that appear to be affected by “malicious programs,” including the White House’s Web site. The hackers appear to be trying to nail them using denial of service attacks. This sort of Web-based digital attack for political reasons isn’t new: A similar attack in Estonia happened two years ago. source
